I believe in a god that . . .
You can believe in God or not, but once you believe in God, HE gets to tell you who He is.
A designer god is a creation of man, designed. That means he is, of necessity, smaller than the one who designed him. And not really any kind of god at all.
“Designer god” is merely a party guest to be pulled out over cocktails to illustrate to all just how clever we are. He is our fantasy, a manageable, controllable, created, not quite deity.
God The Designer is big enough to create all of the universe. He exists beyond the universe. He is too big to comprehend. And therein lies our initial problem.
Everything was already here when we got here. Therefore, we didn’t do it.
Problem number one: we are not god. Oops. Sorry. Awkward.

In 1998 NASA pointed the Hubble Space Telescope at the darkest, blackest part of space they could find within Hubble’s orbit. They left the shutter open (i.e. collected light) for almost four days. The photos were so staggering they’ve been studying the area ever since. In September of this year NASA released an even more detailed, updated image. This is a small slice of it. What you are seeing are not stars. They are never before discovered galaxies that may contain a billion stars each.
Wow, you packed a lot in a few short words. Terrific!
I try not to waste your time or mince words . . . of course I fail a lot. Thanks Elizabeth.
