If God Is, and you get God wrong, then you get everything wrong.
Some things deserve repeating.
IF GOD IS, and you get God wrong, then you get everything wrong.
Think about it. GOD. Creator of the universe. Designer of you. Sun to our cold. Light to our darkness. Eternity to our momentary. Life to our death. Love to our hatred. Holiness to our injustice. Forgiveness to our sin. Hope to our dread. Peace to our worries. Calm to our fears. Joy to our heartbreak. Laughter to our tears. Song to our silence. Strength to our weary bones.
That God.
If THAT God is true, then everything changes. Everything!
If God created you for a reason, if God knows your name, if God knows the number of the hairs on your head, if God sees you when you fall, then standing is a natural thing. Hope is a forgone conclusion. Love is abundant. Giving it away is not giving up anything. It’s sharing.
Life is a great adventure . . . if God is.
But if all this is true and you miss it, then life is a tragedy. This one wrong rules over all the wrongs that follow.
I am only one witness. There are millions. Look around and see the beauty. Hold a child and feel the history of humanity. Walk on a beach and hear the rumble of thousands of miles of living ocean. Feel the sun warm you in the morning. Watch the rain come and smell the spring blossom. Attend a funeral and feel the aching shortness of one life.
It’s all there for you to see. It is no accident. From the smallest cricket to the loudest thunder, it all works together as planned. You are a part of that plan. You don’t need me to tell you.
God is. And if God is, everything changes.
Begin with that.

Dennis, that is just so well said it needs to be heard by the world! What a blessing it is when you use your amazing, God-given gift of communication!! Your message comes through like a professionally mixed recording where you can hear every individual instrument complementing each other, along with the singer, whose voice is also an instrument. You are spot on, if we get God wrong, what else really matters? And the awesome thing is that God doesn’t want us to get Him wrong, so He took great steps to reveal Himself to us. It’s up to us to respond to His very gracious invitation! Thanks again for writing!
Thank you, sir!
